The Dubai Creek
The Dubai Creek is that uniquely historical feature with a very modern purpose. The creek divides Dubai into the town of Bur Dubai to the south and Deira to the north. The creek begins at the Persian Gulf, meandering its way through Dubai for 14 kilometers, to end at the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary. The traditional form of transport along and across the creek is on an Abra, or water taxi. A dhow night cruise of the Dubai Creek is as romantic as romance can get. Enjoy Dubai’s brightly-lit coastline reflected in the water, as belly dancers put on a show on your dhow, and a lovely buffet dinner awaits you.
